Chapter 6 Bad Shapeshifters

• I was dragged to the deepest part of the dungeon and I could perceive the heavy stench of blood in the air. I could also sense the presence of death everywhere. A lot of people must have been killed here. I was scared as I don’t know what my faith will be and I wish Darcy will just give me a listening ear. But, who could have poisoned his food and if it was truly poisoned why didn’t it have any effect on him when he ate it.
• I put a lot of things together and all I could come up with was Lucy. She was supposed to serve him the meal but asked me to go instead of her. But she wouldn’t want to poison him since they are lovers except…..
• Interrupted by a guard who came to inform me that the Queen was looking for me and demands my presence. I followed him out of the dungeon and heaved a sigh of relief upon receiving a fresh air that is not as bad as the dungeon. We got to her chambers and he asked me to go in and then turned and left.
