Chapter 14 The Ranch

• We drove around for a while, and I wondered why we were just cycling a particular street.
• We had just passed it for the fifth time, then I saw two black cars tailing us. He started driving a little bit faster like we were in trouble. I couldn’t say anything and, I was scared.
• I was still lost in my thought when one of the cars caught up with us and bumped our car. It wasn’t really a big deal but Darcy pressed on his brakes forcefully, causing a screeching sound and making us stop an inch to a fence.
