• Earth to Raine," Khalil said, startling her.
• “Yeah?" she said, pushing her food around on her plate. Ever since she saw Asher at the beach she had been edgy and uncomfortable.
• “You alright?" Jake asked as she nodded. She's been living ever since that day. She just goes home to pick up clothes and come back to hers. Not that Mila disliked the idea, but she was worried about her friend.
• “What if he comes back?" she found herself asking.
• "Then he's got all of us to deal with. We're much stronger now. We've got each other back now. He can't harm you, Raine." Willow squeezed her hand.

• "Okay," he said as he called for Kassandra through the speakers to his office. Within a couple of minutes, there was a knock on his door.
• "Come in Kassy," Principle James said as a beautiful blonde entered the office. She was medium-sized and of average height. She had the deepest shade of hazel eyes, dimples and curves at the right places.
• How come I've never seen her before? Hayes asked himself.
• "What have I got today, Principal James?" she smiled at him.
• "You've got a junior year student to tutor." Principal James said.
