• The next morning, sunlight filled the therapy room. Dr. Marcus Vale stood in a white polo shirt and dark sweatpants. Elena lay on the wide therapy table wearing only a thin sports bra and tiny black shorts. Her heart beat fast as she watched him prepare.
• “Today we focus on range of motion and muscle activation,” Dr. Vale said. His voice was professional, but his eyes kept moving over her body. “I need you to relax and let me guide you.”
