• When we were told that Serena visited after the accident and said scary things to the driver's wife and mom, we realized that she is scared that they might reveal the truth and that is why she threatened them to keep their mouths shut. I guess it's why they had to leave their house and go into hiding after the accident. Could it be that she might actually hurt them if they speak to us?
• Liam and I discovered that she probably came to pay them the balance of the driver's money and also warn them to keep their mouth shut. So the reason for their silence is not just because they want to protect the driver from facing the law and bearing the consequences of his actions. they are scared of Serena too.
