Chapter 51 The Deal

• Anna and Rebecca chatted and joked once Matt and Jeff arrived. It surprised her when she saw them coming. Even though they promised to have dinner together, Anna never knew Jeff would come. "You didn't say Jeff would be here?" she asked—protested—to Rebecca in a whisper.
• "I don't know. Matt said nothing." Rebecca replied in the same way.
• Anna raised an eyebrow between belief and disbelief. Rebecca had done a lot of this stuff in the past. Planning lunch or dinner while calling 'the guy' without telling her first. It set her up.
