Chapter 38 First Lie

• Anna tapped her finger on the table while staring at the package untouched since she put it there. She didn't even know for sure what was inside other than a quick glance at the store. Anna was contemplating her decision. Did she do right?
• The finger tapping momentarily stopped as a stupid idea flashed through her mind. She would return it to Jeff. But was it right after the package had been on her table? That would make her look bad.
• The beat continued as soon as she crossed out that idea. She needed another solution.
