Chapter 17 Disrupted Internal Balance
- In no time, Clyde and Willa reached the private courtyard where Otto was. Alongside Master Birch stood a middle-aged man, none other than Willa's father, Franklin Wildrose. Franklin's expression was wrought with anxiety as he clung to Otto. At the same time, Master Birch toiled away over a pot, brewing medicinal herbs.
- Otto appeared distressingly pale, his skin swollen and adorned with numerous minor wounds. Clyde immediately discerned that this resulted from the unbridled spiritual force ravaging Otto's body.
- Willa wasted no time addressing Franklin, "Father, I've brought Clyde. He can help cure Grandpa's illness."
