Chapter 26 Poisoned
- “No, I don’t think so. If I were to guess, I’d say she has food poisoning or ingested another type of poison.” Anna gasps as Nicholas balls his hands into fists and tucks them tightly against his sides.
- “No one else is sick.” Anna looks horrified. “We all ate the same thing. I made dinner.”
- Nicholas squeezes her shoulders. He would never think anything but the best of Anna.
