• Shit blew up out of control once people heard the truth about the Ride or Die society. I was getting heat from the alumni members, and not just that, I was getting heat from my dad, from the school, the press, and the police.
• Thankfully, my friends were a solid help. Eli did everything he could to cover our tracks in the online world, and Axel made sure that unnecessary details about the club would remain protected in the physical world. Casey closed down the shop and reworked our books. Joe worked with the FBI to turn in the Russian mob, while he himself would go on to witness protection. Fred used his contacts in London to help move Joe to London, where he would be safe and happy. And he also helped me get rid of the physical and any other incriminating evidence against the society. Basically, we were tying up loose ends.
