Chapter 25 Grow Up

• My heart was racing like hell as the music kept playing and my eyes were stuck on the dingy warehouse in front of me. Casey had gone inside and out of sight. My eyes darted to the driver seat and I remembered what he told me if he didn’t come out in four minutes.
• Swallowing hard, I shifted from the passenger seat and took the driver’s seat. I rested my feet on the gas pedal and put one hand on the gear while the other was clutching the wheel.
