Chapter 12 Chapter Eleven

• Olivia's POV
• I couldn’t believe I was taking a walk with the very man who killed my parents. To worsen it, he was the Alpha King, the most powerful and influential werewolf in the werewolves' clan. I hadn’t seen or known this man, but I had heard a lot about him—his power, his wolf, and his speed. So much I had heard, and I couldn’t believe this was the same man who murdered my parents. But why would he do that? What did my family do to make him want to annihilate us? But Regardless of what my father might have done, which I doubted, he should have never killed my parents in such a way.
• “What are you thinking? You seem to blank out.” His words snapped me out of my thoughts, and I had to look up at him, our eyes interlocking. “Nothing,” I murmured and looked away. Anger bubbled inside me at my helplessness. Here was my parents' killer, and yet I knew I wouldn’t be able to get justice. This man was the Alpha King; how could I possibly avenge my parents?
