• Alpha Enzo’s POV
• It felt like a dream. The same lady who had occupied my thoughts for the past few days was standing right before me, looking shocked and confused. “Olivia…” I muttered. “You…” she stuttered, clearly shocked to see me. Sarah cleared her throat. “Sir, this is the new intern, Miss Olivia Parker. You asked to see all the new interns.” Her words barely registered as all I could focus on was Olivia standing before me, our eyes interlocking. “Greet,” Sarah urged her. I noticed Olivia nervously licking her lips and composing herself. “Good morning, sir,” she finally said, her voice steady despite the evident tension. “Good morning, Olivia,” I replied, my voice calm but my mind racing. I tore my gaze away from her to address Sarah. “Thank you, Sarah. You can leave us now.” Sarah nodded and quietly exited the room, leaving Olivia and me alone.
• I moved my gaze back to Olivia, who seemed shocked, confused, and worried. “We meet again.” I smirked, but she swallowed nervously and bowed her head at me. A sigh left my lips when I realized she must have learned that I was the Alpha King, which was prompting her to act this way. I wished such information were kept away from her.
