• Richard and Elizabeth followed them to the main doors, their faces flushed with righteous fury.
• Elizabeth’s voice shredded the hush as she spat spite like venom. “You’re nothing but trash! You can’t even protect your wife. How dare you call yourself a man when you let Celeste be cast out of her family?”
