• I had never witnessed such enthusiasm in her expression, and I was uncertain about her exact meaning. I was preparing to respond when a sudden loud noise, followed by a fierce growl, interrupted our conversation. I turned toward the source of the growl, only to be taken aback by the sight of George marching toward us.
