Chapter 13 Following Instructions

• Alan woke up to the sound of a phone ringing, and he found it was for the woman sleeping in his arms. He looked at how she had her face buried in his chest, and he felt protective of her. But after everything, he still wants Michelle.

A year ago, he received a call from his sister's school that she got into a fight with a few boys, beating them to a pulp, so his presence was needed urgently because the boy's parents were angry and demanded his sister, Irene, be expelled since it wasn't the first time she was beating someone.
• Alan took on the role of his sister's guardian at a very young age since their parents were always busy with work. But when he arrived at the school and saw Michelle, he fell in love with her at first sight, even though she was too young—a 14-year gap between them. But everything about her attracted him. So he told the principal he wanted to be a professor in the school, and he agreed without a word, knowing Alan's background.
