• The guards rushed inside, holding Nessa back as she lunged at me. "You killed my brother," she screamed, tears gathering in her eyes as she fought against their hold with everything she had. "Wasn't it enough that you already ruined his life? How can you go so far, huh? Why?"
• "I didn't ruin his life," I got out, shocked by how calm I sounded despite the scene unfolding around me. "He did that all by himself, so don't stand there and act like I'm the villain, because you and I know I'm not."
