Chapter 13 : Holding Her Tears

She took off her coat and draped it over the chair before placing it on the desk, and then she slowly counted to ten before placing her bag on the desk. She realized that she was removing her earrings without knowing and placing them on the ground next to her purse. Evonne took her time tying her hair up into a bun, and then she took off her glasses. Throughout this entire process, she was cackling to herself like a madwoman. Finally, she yells out in a loud voice, “A bitch is going to die today.”
• Did she say she had time to calm her demons? Well, that didn’t work at all.
