• A set of unannounced footsteps came rushing behind me. A very familiar male’s scent slapped the living daylights out of my soul. “It’s your father,” Mara, my wolf, whispered.
• And then, someone cleared their throat behind me. I thought it was one of the Alpha King’s guards sent to escort me away from this chaos. But I was met with a slap from a male’s hand as soon as I turned around.
