Chapter 23 Women Are Meant to Be Coddled

• When Ben didn't have an opinion on things, he would go along with anything; but when he did, he couldn't be persuaded, no matter what. Chelsea learned it the hard way, as she did her best not to get in the car. “Stop being unreasonable, Ben! Stop it now or I really will leave you!”
• “I'm not being unreasonable but you. I'm only asking you to stay one night at my place, but you're acting as if I'm sending you to the guillotine.” As gentle as Ben was, he was still a man. And, much like any other man, he couldn't be reasoned with when he was throwing a temper tantrum. Ben continued to push Chelsea into the car so he could satisfy his own selfish desire to let the neighbors take a look at his future bride.
