• It’s been over two months now, and I think taking the test wasn’t necessary anymore. Every time I wanted to take the pregnancy test, I froze. I was a coward like that and afraid of the truth. It was pretty evident that the constant shower of my husband’s potent seed had taken root in my very fertile garden.
• Part of me, a very small part, was hoping the rumors of Javier’s impotence were true. I thought if I bid my time and waited it out, things would kind of smooth out and all this worrying would have been for nothing. Alas, I was wrong on both accounts.
