- Jac climbed in the car the next morning with a smile on her face. “Good morning.”
- He smiled and handed her a cup of coffee. “Sleep better after I threatened you with a doctor?”
- She laughed. “That was a threat? I did manage to sleep.” She sniffed the coffee. “Thank you.”
