- Reid opened the third door and looked inside. This one was truly empty. He glanced around for witnesses, then motioned for her to go inside.
- Jac stepped in and took a few breaths. “I didn’t realize the cameras would still be outside.”
- He frowned. “Oh, they’re not going to miss a chance to get a picture that might be newsworthy, or at least gossip-worthy.”
