Chapter 27 Omri
- My heart pounded as the elevator dinged and the doors slid open, revealing a large, open-air terrace with a small, beautiful garden. I stepped out, my palms sweaty and my nerves so evident they made my legs tremble.
- The night air softly kissed my skin with each step I took. A large pool came into view, reflecting the glowing moon hanging overhead in the night sky. I managed to walk along the edge of the pool without tripping, despite how nervous I was. From where I stood, the flowers in the garden swayed quietly, filling the air with a soft, heavenly scent.
- “Hasan?” I called out lovingly, warmth blooming through me. My shoulders relaxed in relief, a smile curling at the corners of my mouth. Hasan had been right to ask me to trust him. The terrace was magical.
