Chapter 36 Join Me For Dinner
- Hazel's POV
- I just couldn't tell why, but I just wasn't having it. I wasn't feeling like myself, and I couldn't quite place a description of how I was feeling. I thought maybe it was because of how I saw Hunter smiling sheepishly yesterday, but I quickly dismissed the thought.
- In my usual slow driving method, I drove into my premises and parked in the garage, being careful enough not to hit any other car there. I made my way to the building and on opening the door, I was welcomed with the tasty aroma of lasagna, reminding me that I had been surviving on coffee all day. I made my way to the sitting room, intentionally slow walking to perceive more of the aroma. It was torture, knowing fully well that I wouldn't partake in the food feast, but it was an enjoyable torture.
