Chapter 31 Hungry
- Hazel's POV
- Mothers can always be trusted. Trusted to nag, and nag, and nag, and never stop nagging. I literally didn't get past one bite of food without her reminding me that I was irresponsible for not bringing Hunter along for the mid-week family dinner. If she didn't say it with her mouth, she said it with her eyes and her attitude. I wondered how dad was able to survive all his years of marriage with the beautiful grumpy old lady who could literally nag the devil to death.
- A little advice for young people out there; never live with your parents. Never try that, especially when you have a mom like mine. Unless you're willing and able to sacrifice your peace of mind.
