Chapter 13 The Voice

  • Hunter's POV
  • That damn cop. He surely was not raised by a mother when he treated me that way. Me, Hunter Caspian Middleton, of all people, and he even made me leave my car by the roadside, only to be dragged to the station in his deranged doughnut-smelling siren car, and I'm pretty sure that by the time we're done, I was going to have a parking ticket in my official record; way to go officer.
  • The exterior of the station was adorned with flowers and marble floors, leading up to a giant statue of an unidentifiable person whose identity was literally of no use to me at the moment, only that he seems to have been a good-looking man. If only he was that big in real life, watching him take off his pants would literally give me great joy — stupid me thinking about unholy stuff. I bet there'll be plenty of time for that in jail.
