• My hand throbbed from punching Damien, my knuckles split and swelling, but all I felt was Ninette's hand trembling in mine as we walked out of that ballroom with five hundred pairs of eyes burning into our backs and the only thought in my head was getting her home and tearing that green dress off her body.
