• "Has there been any news on Ashley's whereabouts?" I asked Andy, trying to keep the frustration out of my voice. It had been so long since I asked him to find her, and yet not even a single useful piece of information had come up. The detective I hired seemed to be grasping at straws.
• "I'm really sorry, Sir," Andy said, his tone filled with regret. "Even I couldn't find anything about Ma'am Ashley's current location. I already checked all the banks to see if someone opened an account under her name, hoping it might give us a clue, but I found nothing."
