Chapter 53

• Bella's POV
• We stand at the balcony of the castle where every newly crowned King and Queen is shown to the citizens of the country, waving at the crowd who are going crazy to see us. I can't describe the love these people have for us as if we are one of them. We spend about thirty minutes, not just waving, everyone is called to speak to the crowd, everyone apart from Melech and I are given just three minutes, while we are given ten minutes, or less depending on how long we want our speech to be.
• Melech gets to address the crowd first as our leader, though I'm two things, I really have to give him that respect and reference for helping me to who I am today. If he had listened to his parents and refused to accept me, I wouldn't have been rescued, perhaps I would have become a rogue or gotten killed by my dad and stepmother before I got to kill her.
