• Pascal had arrived at Charlie's home with a taxi and then he found his friend standing at Agnes door, his hand raising to lock the door and then falling again the next second, he shook his head. Was this what his friend had turned into? He didn't know whether to laugh or to wait for him.
• He walked over putting him on his back and then Charlie looked as if he was going to jump right out of his skin, then when he turned and saw that it was his best friend he calmed down considerably.
