Chapter 14
- Rosalina’s POV
- Jordan slams his foot onto the accelerator, and the car lunges into the dark like a predatory animal. The city lights blur into streaks of neon as he drives with a reckless, simmering fury. I turn my head and shoot him a glance that is nothing but ice. His lips are pressed into a thin, white line, his knuckles white against the steering wheel.
- He is in a foul mood because I dared to challenge him. I find it pathetic. What right does he have to be angry when he is the one who turned our relationship into a battlefield of lies?
