• Alita was overwhelmed from the moment she saw Benson walk into the room where she and her mother had been at the hospital. It all still felt like a dream.
• He took care of the bills, hooked her mother with his very expensive doctor, and was on his way home. She didn't know what to do or how to react when he arrives. The talk with her mum and the mind-blowing unexpected care from Benson had done a lot to break the walls she set in between her and Benson. She was forcing herself to be mad at home so she could stay cold at him but this, this was too much for her. Her mum's words echoed in her head as she prepared a meal for Benson. She had thought nothing would be better than a home-cooked meal after a refreshing bath when he comes back.
