• “I am not coming home tonight because I have an appointment tomorrow with a group of firms that are going to sign a merger and then as one company, they’d sign over half their shares to me,” Benson pocketed his hand and simpered. “Just in case you were wondering, it would take about sixteen hours from here to Melbourne, Australia. If I live by 2 pm this afternoon, I will get there by 7 am and then attend the meeting by 8 am and I would be back by midnight, so you have to stay with Julie until I am back.”
• Alita blinked as she took in the news. Before she could say anything, he continued, “Thanks, I will see you soon,” He walked out the door firmly holding a briefcase in one hand and pocketing the other. He was kicking a fitted tuxedo with peak lapels, rocking a diamond bow tie. Alita thought it a sexy, macho look but kept it to herself.
