Chapter 93

• Richard was disappointed as Emily was giving him a cold shoulder, he just followed from behind and thought that he will give her time to reflect on things. Perhaps she will calm down and want to hear his side of the story.
• He knew that it wasn’t right but he just needed a drink to help clear his mind. She reached for his whiskey and took a shot before sitting down on the chair. He crossed his long legs and got comfortable as the burning effect of the alcohol came in to contact with his throat.
• Meanwhile Emily finished cleaning up then grabbed her favourite nightgown and went straight to bed. She hadn’t eaten anything since yesterday and she didn’t want to climb down to the kitchen to go look for food for the fear of coming across Richard.
