• Richard covered her and left the room, he also had some matters of the company to take care of and so she needed to go to his study room. The last person he needed to rub shoulders with now was Emma. Emma on the other hand was just waiting for an opportunity for Richard to be alone so that she can make her move.
• In her mind she still thinks that Richard only pitied Emily and as soon as she get to remind him what they used to have she will be a history. She heard the door of the master bedroom open and so she came out to try and start a conversation with Richard.
