Chapter 65 To Not Do as Told

  • While Arielle didn’t know anything about the dress that she was wearing, the sales attendant knew all about it. The dress was among the latest batch of clothing that CHEMII launched this year. If it was worn by anybody else, she might not have doubted that it was a replica, seeing how genuine the workmanship was. However, she didn’t think Arielle, who was carrying an unbranded handbag and had a freckled face, could possibly afford the real thing.
  • She found it odd that anybody would sell replicas of branded goods in Baylin’s business district, as the Industrial and Commercial Bureau had placed strict limitations on them, especially when it came to the major brands. If anybody were found to be selling them, they would incur a huge fine.
