Chapter 28 We’ll Talk When We Get Home
- Amelia sure is foolish, vain, vile, and a sore sight for eyes, Arielle thought so while leaning against the chair. While glancing at Amelia from the corner of her eye, she said, “It seems like you’re intent on paying the bill for us. Alright, I’ll allow you to pay for us just this once.”
- The waiter had already readied the bill before they even called for it. Although he didn’t like people like Amelia, he was more worried that Arielle and her friends didn’t have the money to pay for their bill, as it would cost them a fortune. Therefore, he walked up to Amelia upon hearing what Arielle said.
- Blushing, Amelia scoffed at the waiter’s reaction. “Sorry, I don’t have any cash with me today.”
