- Leandro’s words echoed in my mind as we made our way to Gosto’s office, each syllable more ludicrous than the last. The legend he spoke of sounded like something out of a fantasy tale, passed down from generation to generation, warped by time and imagination. A deity like that couldn’t possibly have existed… and yet, my thoughts spun with a thousand impossible what-ifs.
- But the most pressing issue wasn’t the myth itself. It was what Leandro had said about my supposed godlike abilities, powers I didn’t understand, let alone control. What kind of goddess couldn’t even wield her own magic?
- “Are you all right?” Leandro asked as his hand reached for the doorknob.
