• As I made my way back to my car, I fought the urge to turn on my heels and run back to Ciara. She hadn't been happy to see me leave but she didn't say anything but I saw it in her eyes. Seeing her like that tore at my heart but I needed to leave. Some things were going down at the pack that I had to take care of. If only I could reveal my identity as her mate and take her with me then all this won't be happening but I just couldn't.
