• “I'll go get them,” offered Shirley. She understood that Christopher had just shown up, so he had no idea where everything was. She didn't want him to delay the kid's treatment, so she quickly gathered everything.
• “Seriously, what is the point of having you around?” dissed Simon. He was already jealous, so that was the perfect opportunity for him to vent a little.
