He looked at her with so much longing, his heart racing as he drew her closer to him. Zara went stiff in his arms, looking quite stunned after his declaration. Nevertheless, she regained herself after a few seconds pulling away.
"Tell me, do I really know you, who are you? Do you perhaps have another identify I'm not aware of?"
She sliently pleaded for him to open up to her, to tell her the truth yet he remained silent. Zara shoved him hard against the chest, anger surging through her at that moment. "You're just a stranger who stumbled upon my path. Who you are doesn't matter to me anymore. I wouldn't even have time to think of you once I marry the king."
