• The easier it was to agree with her decision to stay away, the harder it became to be under the same roof and not touch her, kiss her and fuck her as I wanted. It had been three weeks since that day, and in those days, I had already become a miserable being. The first few days, I somehow survived, but later, every time I caught a glimpse of my wife in the house, I completely lost my mind. It took every bit of restraint not to approach her.
• Edith smelled like fresh blooming roses just like her flower shop, and even when she was out of my sight, I could still smell her sweet scent lingering all over the house. I realized how foolish I had been to think I could stay in a separate room because now, all I could think about was her.
