Chapter 41

• I did not go to my apartment but I headed to Karima’s, almost at the verge of tears. The moment she opened the door, I burst into tears and ran into her arms. She welcomed me warmly, like I would have expected and just patted my back.
• “It’s all my fault that he was going to kill himself, Karima.” I cried on her shoulders but she started stroking my hair. “It is not your fault, Mira. Calm down.” She replied.
• After a few minutes, I stopped crying and finally followed her into the living room while she held my hand.
