Chapter 23

• I was woken up in the morning by Karima’s call. I swear, if she had not called me at that time, I would have gotten late for work.
• Apparently, she was back at her apartment to prepare for the day. Immediately the call ended, I walked into the shower and had a warm bath, then I put on casual wears with sneakers then waited patiently for her to be done.
• I would have gone up to her unit but the trauma I had the previous day was real, funny enough so I just waited on my floor.
