• Melissa exhaled as Beateice spoke. This was her main focus. Though the Vance pack might prove a bit hard to match up against due to their proposed military might if their situation called for force, she wouldn't be averse to using it. The council on the other hand was like a soldier ant on someone's face. If you are not interested in assaulting yourself physically, you would take extra care when dealing with it.

Melissa knew she couldn't just remove the entire castle and replace it with a new one and just call it a day. She needed the old members too, even though most of them were governed by their greed and selfishness, she needed to find a way to tap into their ability to hate each other and disturst. They didn't need to like her, they only needed to hate themselves enough so they would need her.
