• He felt confused, but he refused to let Tristan see that side of him. With a quick movement, he looked away and stood up abruptly, a frown creasing his forehead.
• “W-who said you could get that close to me?” he demanded, his voice rising but shaky. He mentally cursed himself for the unsteady tone.
