Chapter 21 Conflicted Feelings

• Aiden took a deep breath, closing his eyes as he struggled to calm the anger burning within him. It shouldn’t bother him; it shouldn’t be any of his business, but just the thought made his blood boil, and he had no idea why.
• Trying to control his anger and ignore Tristan’s presence, he decided to walk past him. But as he moved and stepped ahead, Tristan dropped his phone and grabbed Aiden’s wrist, pulling him closer.
• Aiden’s irritation flared as he yanked his hand away. “Get your filthy hands off me,” he snapped, the anger he’d been trying to suppress now spilling over.
