Chapter 5
- Because of the incident, Noe opted to get her essentials during the daytime. But if there was one thing that she could not get over with, it was the strange wolf that seemed to be so much more than just a fury beast for her.
- “Hi, do you need help?” Noe noticed a man who was having a hard time walking, she saw the blooded cloth wrapped around his left foot.
- “I'm thirsty,” the man replied.
- “Let me get you something to drink, just wait for me here,” she told her, rushing to the convenience store a few meters away.
- She hurriedly opened the bottle and handed the water to the man when she returned. “Here, take it.”
- “Thank you,” the man told her.
- “What is your name and what happened to your foot?”
- “My name is Finnigan, but you can just call me Finn. I was attacked by some men last night,” he explained.
- “Where do you live?” she politely asked.
- “Anywhere, I sleep on the streets,” he muttered.
- “Where is your family?”
- “I don't have any,” the man sadly replied.
- Feeling for him, Noe sat down next to him, and then offered him a sandwich. “We are the same, I don't have family here.”
- “I ran away from them,” Finn replied.
- “So did I,” she responded, smiling at him. “I am so enjoying this freedom, but I still wish I didn't have to escape.”
- “Don't you dare walk late at night again, the streets are not safe here,” he warned, glaring at her.
- “Hey, how did you know that I was out on the streets at night?”
- “I saw you last night,” he lied, realizing that he saved Noe while he was in his wolf form.
- “There was a wolf who helped me,” she whispered, looking around as if checking if there were other people who could hear her.
- “A what? Wolf? In New York City? That's marvelous!” He sarcastically told her, and then started laughing loudly at her face.
- “Yeah, do you think I am joking?”
- “I think you are very funny,” he replied.
- Noe tapped his wound with her hand, and Finn screamed in pain. “Why did you do that?”
- “Because you are making fun of me!”
- “I thought you were kidding,” he uttered. “I am sorry,” he added.
- “Your wound is infected, you should go to the hospital,” she suggested, staring closely at the wound that made Finn's foot swollen.
- “Yeah? Do I look like I have money to pay the doctors? I can't even buy a bottle of water. Those men robbed me last night, they took everything away.”
- Noe felt bad, she immediately pitied him. “I can give you some money,” she offered.
- “No thanks,” he said, turning her down.
- “Can I just help you treat your wound, I have my medical kit at my apartment.”
- “You know nothing about how dangerous life here in the city is! Why would you bring a stranger to your apartment, that is dangerous!”
- “I just thought that you need help, and I don't think that you are a bad person, Finn!”
- “So easy for you to think that way, but what if I am a bad person?” he asked her, moving his face closer to her face.
- Noe started laughing even before she could speak.
- “What are you laughing about,” he irritably asked her.
- “Your face is so full of dirt! It makes you look funny!” She continued laughing, almost too loud that everyone that passed by looked at them.
- After almost 30 minutes of struggling, Finn made it to Noe's apartment.
- “Are you sure that there's no one else here?” he asked her, picking the scent of Mirae that was left in the apartment.
- “I told you, I just moved here about three days ago,” she responded.
- “Why did you move here?”
- “To start living on my own, and to finally see the world,” she replied. .
- “Haven't you seen the world yet? What? Are you a prisoner or something?” he questioned as he had comfortably dumped himself on the couch.
- “You can say that,” she quickly replied. “It’s a sad and long story to tell.”
- “Go on, I can keep up,” he asked her, wanting to know more about her.
- “Let's focus on your wound, but before that, I think you need to take a bath!”
- Finn started smelling his clothes and sniffing his armpits, ”I guess you're right. The thing is, I have nothing to change into.”
- “I have shirts that I haven't used yet. They are big, don't worry, and mostly neutral in color.”
- “Why are you so kind to me?”
- “I don't see any reason for me to be otherwise,” she quickly replied, handing him over a new towel.
- “I am not used to kindness, I grew up around people who bullied me, except for my guardian,” he softly narrated.
- “A guardian? What does that mean?”
- “Guardian, he sort of acts like my father. I lost my father when I was 2, and I know nothing about my mother.”
- “Sad,” she commented. “I know nothing about my biological mother too, but my adopted mother loved me as her own. I lost her when I was three.”
- “You are not from America, are you?”
- “How can you say that?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
- “Your accent, obviously!” he sarcastically answered. “Where are you from?”
- “The Middle East, somewhere in the desert,” she said, taking his hand to help him get inside the bathroom.
- “I can't bend down, can you help me take off my pants?” he politely asked.
- As soon as he took his shirt off, Noe noticed how toned his body was. It was the first time that she saw a man without a shirt on.
- “I hope you don't mind,” he uttered while unbuttoning his pants and opening the fly.
- Noe held his pants and gently pulled it down, and as soon as she had pulled it halfway through his legs, she was confronted with Finn's bulge. Her initial reaction caught Finn's attention and he could not help himself from laughing out loudly.
- “Don't tell me you haven't seen one, how old are you?”
- Noe closed her eyes and moved her face away, “Of course, it is not allowed in our culture, we can only do it once we get married.”
- “Really? That's interesting!” Finn started to feel a certain heat inside him, realizing that an inexperienced woman's face was just a few inches away from his tool.
- He naughtily grabbed Noe's hand and put it on top of his tool, “Sorry, my bad.”
- “Why did you do that?” she growled, pulling her hand away.
- “I just want you to know how it feels to experience something that you are deprived of,” he uttered, his voice raspy and his eyes narrowed.
- Noe immediately got up, “just take a bath okay! I can't imagine you flirting with me while you stink!”
- “Okay, I'll get back to flirting once I'm all cleaned up,” he said, winking at her.
- She did not know what she was feeling, but she knew there was something inside her that she was very curious to know about. Back in her country, it was forbidden for women to engage in any sexual activities outside marriage, they were not even allowed to show their skin.
- But she could not keep the thought off her mind, Finn's body turned her on, and the instance that she felt his tool on her palm was making her want to feel it again, even longer perhaps.
