Chapter 3: Trespassing Room at Night

• Bai Ruoxi was flung against the wall and her back that hit the wall ached badly. She let out a shriek which was followed up by a deafening noise of the door slamming shut. She shivered with fear and panicked.
• A shadow in front of her pressed down, the man had already slapped the wall in front of her and towered over her and looked down at her.
• His movements were so fluid that she did not get a chance to react.
• She only sensed the saturated dangerous air around the man. His rage was soaring rapidly and his icy cold expression in his eyes could intimidate the whole world. She was extremely anxious and could not move as if someone had placed a spell on her.
• From what Bai Ruoxi could tell, this man’s body was like a mountain- huge and sturdy. That invisible menace frightened her.
• Qiao Xuanshuo’s gaze was filled with burning anger, his sexy Adam’s apple bobbed twice. His voice which had become hoarse and magnetic beyond comprehension contained a word by word warning, “I don’t care whether you are prostituting yourself or not, but since you dared to wear this kind of outfit in front of my troops, I also dare to throw you into the vast ocean.”
• Bai Ruoxi’s fingertips shuddered, she pulled the hem of her shirt down. When she thought about Qiao Xuanshuo and the soldiers saw how she was dressed, her face flushed deep red against her will and she felt very awkward, “Sorry, I-I heard your voice just now. I was too anxious and forgot about my current state. I hope Third Older Brother can give me five minutes, I want to have a chat with you.”
• Qiao Xuanshuo smiled coldly with sarcasm, “You only need five minutes with me with that get-up of yours? At least 50 minutes will be needed.”
• 50 minutes?
• Bai Ruoxi was startled and looked blankly at the man who had an icy face but scorching gaze.
• “What Third Older Brother means is you are willing to talk with me...”
• Bai Ruoxi suddenly felt her thighs being touched by the man’s rough palms. She was so frightened her voice stopped suddenly and her complexion changed.
• Her body stiffened and the next second, she used all her might to push the man’s chest away.
• She sensed that the man had a lot of strength in his buff, thick and broad muscles separated by the white military shirt. There was no way she could push him away by even an inch.
• But she felt the man was absolutely unrestrained.
• Slap.
• A crisp sound of slap resounded.
• This slap from Bai Ruoxi ruthlessly landed on the man’s steadfast face.
• The air sunk in an instant and the world became very quiet, vacant yet ice-cold.
• At that moment, Bai Ruoxi was stunned. She did not dare to believe that she actually hit Qiao Xuanshuo. Her eyes watered and her tears were about to fall. Her hands trembled and her heart was bleeding on the inside. She felt a piercing pain bored out in her heart.
• How did she bear to hit this man?
• But why must he mock her like this?
• Qiao Xuanshuo loosened his grip and stepped back. He pressed his tongue against the side of his cheek that got slapped. He looked unaffected by the pain and gave off an evil and eerie cold laugh.
• The man seemed indifferent and frivolous but his rage had already burned his eyes red.
• Suddenly, he strangled Bai Ruoxi’s neck with one hand. Although the strength was not strong, it frightened Bai Ruoxi whose face turned pale and body stiffened.
• His icy tone made people chilled, he said word by word, “You played such perverted games with men on the ship yet you pretending to be pure in front of me now? Aren’t you trying to seduce me by dressing like this?”
• Bai Ruoxi bit her lower lip, she was so angry that her clenched fists shook. She felt as if the most inner and vulnerable part of her heart was torn into shreds. It was so painful that she could not utter a word.
• Qiao Xuanshuo narrowed his distant and cold eyes while he frivolously said in a cold voice, “I only chat with women who lied down on my bed. Let me know when you made up your mind anytime.”
• Qiao Xuanshuo turned around and left without any hesitation after throwing these absolutely cold words out.
• Bai Ruoxi’s nails dug deeper and deeper into her clenched fists, she wished it would bleed out. Glistening teardrops overflowed from her eyes and slowly rolled down quietly on her fair cheeks.

• The sky was dark and the sea breeze violently hissed.
• There were soldiers standing guard everywhere on the warship. A petite silhouette shifted forward sneakily down the long hallway.
• She avoided the soldiers on duty cleverly and secretly slipped into a pitch-black room before she closed the door carefully. Thanks to the dim and hazy night, the small black shadow came to the bedside.
• When she thought that no one knew anything, she did not realize the man who was soundly asleep had already woken up the instant the door opened. He breathed evenly and pretended to be sleeping.
• The man was aware of the black shadow that slowly neared him.
• When the man was trying to guess her motive
• He heard the small sound of clothes shuffling followed by a sudden snap. It was then the man realized something was amiss and sat up abruptly.
• But it was too late.
• “Don’t move.” Bai Ruoxi’s clear and blunt voice resounded.
• In the hazy dark night, it could be seen clearly that Bai Ruoxi had already grasped the handgun at the bedside and aimed it at the man who shot up in a sitting position.
• The man could not help but laughed coldly as he had underestimated this woman’s motive. He opened his mouth unhurried and calmly, his magnetic, deep voice was at the peak of sexiness, “Do you know who you are pointing the gun at?”
• Bai Ruoxi feigned calmness and spoke word by word, “I know. I am pointing the gun at the man who is my stepfather’s third son, my third older brother, Qiao Xuanshuo.”
• “And?” The man was perfectly composed as he asked. He did not exhibit a sense of urgency, instead, it was Bai Ruoxi who held the gun who trembled.
• “And... the highest-ranked general of Xi Country’s special military troops.” Bai Ruoxi swallowed her saliva because this crime alone would make her stay in prison for a lifetime.
• The man snorted coldly, his nose produced a sound full of disdain. He wrinkled his eyebrows at the black shadow before him. It was a piece of cake for him to subdue her but he was very curious about the intention behind Bai Ruoxi coming to his room with her life at stake.
• “Lie down. Raise your hands.” Bai Ruoxi commanded as both of her hands propped the gun.
• The man’s lips curved up slightly, his dangerous gaze looked especially sharp in the hazy night. He obeyed the order and lied down, both of his hands were crossed over his head.
• Bai Ruoxi did not dare to relax and slowly got into his bed. She was so nervous that her breathing turned heavy. She pressed the gun against the man’s abdomen and lied down on the bed beside him smoothly.
• Qiao Xuanshuo’s brows furrowed and he stared at the woman beside him in astonishment. It was out of expectations from what he had thought.
• After Bai Ruoxi lied down, she slowly said, “Third Older Brother, since you like to talk with women while lying down, now that I am already lying down on your bed. Let’s have a chat now.”
• The man did not speak. The fresh masculine odor on his body smelled so good that it affected Bai Ruoxi’s senses. It was the first time she lied down on this man’s bed and was so close to his body. She could feel his breathing, his body temperature and his odor.
• It was so inconceivable, like a dream. Bai Ruoxi was so nervous that her body shivered slightly, her heart was beating ferociously. She used all her willpower to control herself to keep cool.
• After moistening her throat, Bai Ruoxi started to get down to business, “Third Older Brother, my mother is a kind woman. It is impossible for her to kill someone who is sisters-in-law with. There is nothing in it for her to kill your aunt.”
• “Even if she did, my mother is such a clever woman. If she killed someone, she will definitely clean up the scene. It is impossible for her to leave behind the weapon with her fingerprints on it. Her mobile phone and coat were also left behind on the scene. This is obviously a set-up.”
• The man remained silent.
• “Third Older Brother, are you listening to me?” Bai Ruoxi raised her head and hazily saw the man with his eyes closed and breathed evenly as though he had fallen asleep.
• “Third Older Brother?”
• The man’s rough voice murmured, “What brand of body wash are you using?”
• “Eh?” Bai Ruoxi was stupefied.
• “Very fragrant.”
• Bai Ruoxi was angered, “What in the world are you thinking about now? I am talking to you about my mother’s matters.”
• “I am thinking that you are going to be miserable later on.”
